Description of activity
I am a specialist in early Christian studies. I find asceticism, both historical and contemporary, especially intriguing and have published on authors such as Clement of Alexandria, Evagrius of Pontus, and Benedict of Nursia, for example. I enjoy studying and translating classical texts and discerning both their historical context and relevance for today's discussions.
