Description of activity
I am a PhD student with interests in history, journalism, media and communication studies, qualitative research, language learning, identity, migration, and different cultures. He also has prior experience organizing international academic events and communication with universities and research centers. I am currently researching Finnish-Turkish cultural and historical relations from the late nineteenth century to the present, with a focus on Finnish, Russian, and Turkish newspapers, war correspondence, diaries, and reminiscences. His research interests include Russian-Turkish relations, journalism, intellectual history, history of ideas, cultural history, the culture of remembrance, media-communication, and war propaganda.
